What will that goal really cost?
Inflation quietly doubles many goals. See the future cost, the monthly saving that gets you there and how money already set aside helps — and compare up to three goals or plans.

Suggestions
- 📌Inflation of 10% turns ₹25 L today into ₹58.95 L in 9 years — 2.35× today's cost.
- ⚠️Waiting one year to start (same deadline) would raise the monthly amount from ₹34,616 to ₹41,104.
- 💡If the goal can wait 2 more years, the monthly amount drops to ₹30,693 — even though the cost rises to ₹71.33 L.
- ⚠️Your assumed return (10%) does not beat this goal's inflation (10%), so the money set aside loses ground every year.
- 📌For reference, PPF currently pays 7.1% (government-declared rate).

How it's calculated
- Future cost = today's cost × (1 + goal inflation)^years.
- Money already set aside grows at the assumed return; the monthly saving covers the rest.
- Monthly saving = remaining amount × i ÷ ((1 + i)n − 1), where i is the monthly equivalent of the yearly return and n the number of months.
- Goal inflation is often higher than general inflation (CPI 5.54%) — education and healthcare costs have historically risen faster. Returns are assumptions, not guarantees.
